Logan Whistles and the World Sheep Dog Trials
Logan Whistles were proud to create the winners' trophies and present first prize to the Irish Team at the last World Sheep Dog Trials held at the Gill Hall Estate in County Down, Northern Ireland.
This was the first time the World Trial was held in Northern Ireland and just a few miles from Shanaghan Farm, the ancestral 'home' of Logan Whistles.
We were also honoured to have been commissioned to create a commemorative whistle for each of the 230 competitors at the Sheep Dog Trial. It was a real achievement for those competitors to have been selected for one of the teams; some travelling great distances with their dogs to compete. Countries represented included
Argentina; Austria; Belgium; Brazil; Canada; Czech Republic; Denmark; England; Faroes, Finland; France; Germany; Hungary; Iceland; Ireland; Israel; Italy; Netherlands; Norway; Poland; Portugal; Scotland; South Africa; Spain; Sweden; Switzerland; Uruguay; USA; Wales and Zimbabwe.

Specially engraved Logan Whistles were gifted to each of the finalists in the main and young handler competitions
